Residential design, Warehouse conversion (Concept models)
BRIEF:
You are to design a warehouse apartment for a selected client (Location: Fenwicks Stone Building. 2-8 Weston St, Balmain, NSW 2041). You are to:
- -Identify which client you will select. (I chose "Fashion agent")
- -Analyse the site context.
- -Base your design brief upon meeting the perceived needs, desires and lifestyle requirements of your client.
- -Develop conceptual ideas appropriate to your selected client.
- -Keep the facade, window and door location. The internal columns can be ere moved if adequate structural support is provide.
- -The stair location can be changed.
- -Be innovative in your conceptual approach and spatial ideas.
- The site is located at 2-8 Weston Street, Balmain East, NSW.
- The warehouse conversion into a residential house for Mercedes Beale.
- My client Mercedes Beale is an internationally respected fashion agent who travels the globe promoting emerging Australian designers.
- She frequently spends months away from Sydney. Client’s time in Sydney is generally time off.
- She requires space for pilates, yoga, and meditation and has developed an interest in the teachings of Buddhism.
- The client also requires a small office area and storage space for samples.

The products arrived! In the parcel from Tokyo Japan, I found a wood brush "Magatama MASSA" and a refined sesami oil "TILA".
日本からEMSで商品が届きました〜！サンエアー株式会社さんが、「まがたまMASSA」という新商品のモニターを募集してたので応募したところ、「まがたまMASSA」と「TILA天然オイル」が郵送されてきました♪
★まがたまMASSA：
まあるくコロンとした形で、手の平にすっぽり収まる可愛いサイズ（10.9 cm x 7.7 cm)。持ち手とピンの部分が竹で出来てます。竹ピンの特徴はこちら。色合いは竹の天然色で、薄茶色の目にも優しい穏やかな色合い。（生成り、ベージュ、茶系が好きな私にはツボ！）竹の持ち手やピンの表面は綺麗に磨かれスムーズな感触。マッサージで皮膚に当たる竹ピンも、持ち手を持つ手の平にも心地よいです。ゴツゴツした感じや、引っかかる感じも無くとても気持ちいーい！まがたまMASSAの使い方はこちら。
★TILA天然オイル：
こちらはゴマ精製油。主成分はオレイン酸、リノール酸、パルミチン酸だそう。オレイン酸と言えばオリーブオイルと同じで皮膚刺激性が少ないはず。「ゴマ油」と聞くと食用の茶色で、独特のゴマの香りを想像しがち。。。「ゴマ臭くなるなら、外出前に使うのは嫌かも。。。」と思いつつ、手の平に垂らしてみると、あら無臭！！容器の中に入ってる液体は微妙に薄い黄色だけど、手の平に出して見ると、ほぼ透明に近い。サラサラした感触でベタベタしない、この感触はオーストラリアでは有名なEmu oilと似ている。（イミューオイルもサラサラなオイルで、肩こり部分などに塗ると疲れが取れて重宝している。イミューオイルは室温が低い冬は固形になるので温めて液状にしてから使っている）このゴマ油は真冬のオーストラリアでも液状のままで使いやすい。
パソコン酷使でコリコリになった肩に塗り込んでから、まがたまMASSAで首や肩をマッサージしてみた。。。「あ〜、なる程！まがたまMASSAの商品モニターで応募したのに、TILA天然オイルが同封されて来た意味が分かった〜！」オイル無しでまがたまMASSAだけでマッサージする時と、オイルをつけてからマッサージするのでは全然感触が違うのです。まがたまMASSA自体はスムーズな感触だけど、皮膚にじかに使うと、そりゃ竹と人間の皮膚ですから摩擦が生じる訳です。でもオイルをつける事によって、竹ピンが超スムーズでまるで転がるようで。。。例えて言うなら、Swidish massageやってもらう時、背中にオイルを塗ってもらい、指ですべるようにマッサージされるような感覚。まがたまMASSA使うなら、TILA天然オイルは是非一緒に使うべき！！マッサージした後はコリコリに固まった首や肩がポカポカして、コリが少し楽になりました。コリに悩んでいる方には両方ともお勧めでーす❤ TILA天然オイルの使い方はこちら。

I sewed a bag for my T-square. I attached a shoulder strap to the bag so that it would be easier to carry it to school. It designed the bag in the way it would look like a Ninja sward when it is carried.
