My hubby's rendering! (Watercolour)

My hubby and myself had stayed in a small town called, "Umina Beach" in Central coast for our short holiday.  We had very limited I-net access there so that we dedicated ourselves for doing creative things. My hubby had worked on his film script. I had worked on my watercolour paintings.  As I had never learnt how to use watercolour paints, I brought a few self-learning books to study by myself.  I used Holbein watercolour paints (recently discovered favourite medium!!). I also tried a new medium called, GANSAI.  GANSAI is a Japanese traditional solid watercolours. It is a water-based pigment and ideal for sketch, illustration, sumi-e and more. (I'm mastering this medium during this summer school holiday season so that I will be able to use this for interior design rendering once the school resumes in Feb) GANSAI paints blend beautifully, the colours are rich and vibrant.  My 46 colours-set came with the metallics, too.  As a comparison, I chose similar hues from GANSAI and watercolour paints, and rendered various fruits. (For the first time to use this medium, I did pretty well. Good on me!!) :)
